Is Jesus anti-wealth?

What does it mean to say that it is harder for a rich man to enter heaven? I would say the primary reason would be either comfort and security or the distraction of accumulating wealth. In other word, the attachments due to it, whether the pursuit of more or the level of comfort taken for granted by having financial security. It can make a person hard or make a person soft.

I don't see that he said much about wealth on its own. It was always in context. The focus wasn't the wealth but the heart. If someone has a lot of wealth, the question to ask would be why.
